Colour Changing LED Lights on Roofline

This roofline is a little hard to see amongst all the hedge work, but if you look closely you can see that it fades from red to blue over the stretch of the house.

We used a simple 2 channel fader to fade between the two LED strands. The faders are not very powerful, so they tend to lag across the length of the LED strands, since they draw so little power, you can use the faders where normal C7's would blow them after just a couple of strands.

While the lag effect may not be desired, I actually kind of like it... it has a rolling across the roofline effect going for it.

Christmas Tree Lighting

This is by far my favorite tree that we do each year. It's lit in three sections and each of them have 4 channels. Multi, Red, and blue LED's with a layer of white C-9's that goes all the way up to the top in a swirl.

The whole thing is animated and set to music, it's really spectacular.

We've been trying to get the website weputuplights.com to have it's new look in time for November 1st, I guess that's a pipe dream. It's unfortunate that our CSS guy dropped out in the middle of things and unfortunately Francois will have to finish it himself.

Website Overhaul for We Put Up Lights Inc.

We are reworking our website this year to better enable other installers to use our website to bid on jobs and manage thier affairs.

Some of the features will include a hosted email address (Google Mail Hosted 2GB account) with attached installer calendar. Personal Subdomain (yourname.weputuplights.com) and bidding tools that will help you quote on jobs.

These features have been in development since last season, but are undergoing a total overhaul, as is the user interface and the overall design of the site.
